You can't stop a belt for a retry.

On a sorting line the read window is measured in milliseconds. A rolling shutter rolls through the code edge; a global shutter grabs it whole. That is the entire difference, and it is exactly what the AS733 encodes:

  • One glance, whole frame — no vertical smear across the code, no chase-the-row retry matrix.
  • In-house decode engine — the same firmware family as AS732, so an AM/FM split between fixed and mobile lanes costs you no re-training.
