V8
The V8 is the voice 2D imager of the V series — the imaging gun that announces each valid read out loud, for stations where an operator's hands and eyes are busy with the part, not the paper.

Family-class values shown — exact per-model figures in the datasheet; the FAE team tunes voice cues for your bench work within 48h.

Two hands on the part, both eyes down the line.
Sampling a part takes two hands: one holds the sample, the other the gun — yet somebody also has to verify the read. The V8 decides that question by voice: the unit announces each valid scan while the operator's eyes stay on the part, which at a sampling bench is where the real error rates are generated:
- Vocal verdict keeps the rhythm — announced accepted/retry cues remove the screen-check pause from each sample, so a QC bench gains its minutes back one read at a time.
- Matrix gets the same treatment — the DataMatrix on taped and printed parts reads and speaks through the same trigger; no second device for the newer markings.
- Bench-side audit, still paper-free — RS232 output posts the samples in sequence, and the voice set in the free SDK matches the bench vocabulary your inspectors already use.

V8 FAQs
Configurable — speech, tones or both are available per program; the free SDK and the 48h FAE line set the mixture your bench finds least noisy.
Yes, the voice set is program-configured; a sampling bench can announce part class, batch or verdict — the FAE team sets it for your labels against one sample part.
The feedback channel is speaker-ported for counter and bench distance; for halls over that noise floor, confirm placement with the FAE — sometimes a second unit's tones work better than loud speech.
